2023 The year ahead
s a leading manufacturer of high-quality connectors and fittings, we at Kee Connections have big plans for growth this year. Since being formed in 2009 we have established a reputation for excellence in the industry, and we're now looking to expand our reach even further.
One of the ways we plan to grow is by expanding our product line to offer even more solutions to our customers. We already have an extensive range of products, including stainless steel fittings, tube fittings, and quick release couplings. However, we plan to add new products to our portfolio, such as bespoke fittings and custom connectors, to meet the specific needs of our customers.
In addition to expanding our product offerings, we're also focused on expanding our presence in international markets. While we already have a strong presence in the UK and Europe, we plan to increase our reach in other parts of the world, such as Asia and the Americas. Internal Staff Training Session
Our Design Engineer Joe McGinnis and Quality Engineer Matthew Dunn held internal staff training sessions to educate some of our employees on the important role our couplings have in the breathing air industry.
Each member of staff was able to try on a Self Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) and the goal for these sessions is to increase warehouse staff knowledge on our fittings, and more importantly, them seeing the importance of our products in application.

Kee Connections opens new Northwest facility as part of major expansion roadmap

Kee Connections, the specialist designer and manufacturer of pneumatic and hydraulic couplings, hoses and connectors, has opened a new facility in the Northwest of England. This move is the first realisation of the company’s plans for a major expansion of its UK operations over the next three years.
The new facility in Knowsley, Merseyside will include provision for both R&D and for component parts stock read for production of couplings on the assembly line.
Requirements for innovative coupling design
Kee Connections’ managing director, Tony Keeley, believes the key to growth is new markets developed around requirements for innovative coupling design that solve application requirements. “The expansion of our Design Department is fundamental to improving the relationship between customers’ desires and the realisation of those ideas into prototypes for field trials/pre-products,” he said.
Kee Connections stocks finished goods ready for next-day dispatch. “This is crucial in order to meet the demands of clients who have just-in-time expectations,” commented Keeley. The company offers a boxed bagged and barcoded facility to meet these requirements.
Well-positioned for growth
With its new facility and over 30 years’ experience of coupling design, Keeley adds that the company is well-positioned for growth. He concluded: “We are ready for tomorrow’s requirements today by offering innovative, problem-solving solutions. The global landscape is changing quickly; we are not interested in keeping up, only in leading the way.”

Kirkwood Wilson Accountants have overseen the accounts of a remarkable success story in Scarisbrick-based experts in couplings, hoses and connectors, Kee Connections Limited. Under our financial stewardship, they've grown from a promising start-up to what is now a multi-national business with an annual turnover of just under £1 million.
Kirkwood Wilson has been acting for Kee Connections, and their founder, Tony Keeley, since the company began trading in 2008. Shrugging off the unsettled financial environment, just two years later they'd outgrown their existing premises and were seeking a financial solution to fund their relocation.
